Stephan Paternot

Creating International and Consumer Awareness for a Former CEO, Author and Budding Film Actor

Stephan Paternot, only 27, is already pursuing his third career - the lifelong dream of acting -- after taking a wild ride from obscure college student to one of the world's most famous Internet CEOs. He's now chronicled his adventure in "A Very Public Offering: A Rebel's Story of Business Excess, Success and Reckoning," published by John Wiley & Sons and on sale worldwide. His story is an inspiration for anyone who might now be trying to figure out what to do with their lives. It's an adventure about rising from obscurity, following your dream, achieving success beyond your wildest dreams and then starting all over when the bottom drops out.

Today, Paternot may be the only ex-CEO to pursue an acting career. It may be the reason why he says being a CEO is "the greatest form of method acting." Paternot is now working with a Hollywood agent to turn the book into a feature film. He's taking acting lessons with film and television actor Neal Lerner. And he's set to act in his second independent film, "A Game of You," produced by Keith Alan Morris and scheduled for release in spring 2002. Paternot earlier produced and starred in "Shutter," a finalist at four festivals, including the Avignon International Film Festival of 2001.

The Loewy David Group is now working closely with Paternot to publicize his book in leading international media outlets and to publicize his up-and-coming acting career to broader consumer/lifestyle/entertainment audiences. With his drive, energy and appetite for risk, it's clear you haven't heard the last of this Internet pioneer.
